A wretched afternoon

Cranbourne began to think about its war memorial.

A Meeting was held in the Sunday School, on February 5th, to consider whether there should be a Memorial for those of our Parish who have fallen in the war. Unfortunately it was a wretched afternoon, and many were prevented from attending the meeting. However, a Committee was appointed, and it was decided to ask for subscriptions from the whole parish.
