Measles and mumps among the cadets

An epidemic of infectious diseases was attacking cadets at the Royal Military College in Sandhurst.

March 16th 1917
Received information that the whole of the children from Royal Military College would be absent today as they are to undergo a special medical examination in view of the epidemic of measles, mumps &c at present prevalent amongst the Cadets.
